Chiropractic Education

Your chiropractor is very well educated and after completing the required undergraduate pre-med course work then goes through a rigorous program in Chiropractic College which emphasizes anatomy, kinesiology, neurology, pathology, physiology, x-ray and spinal adjusting techniques. The education chiropractors receive is quite similar to the training medical doctors receive in medical school, with each profession having more hours of education in topics that are utilized more in their professions.

Before receiving their degree chiropractors also must complete approximately 900 hours of hands on clinic work. Finally chiropractors must pass intense and demanding National Board Exams and practical exams, pass local State Board Exams, and complete continuing education courses every year. Your Doctor of Chiropractic is very well educated and trained to detect and correct vertebral subluxation. Know that you and your family are in good hands.
